Douglas Swanson is a shareholder at the law firm and works in one of the managers of the Waukesha office. He currently holds the position of is the Past Chairman of the firm's Office Management Committee. Mr. Swanson’s practice involves consists of handling a wide variety of personal injury claims, including involving motor vehicle accidents, products liability, slip and falls, contractor negligence, landowner liability, dog bite claims, and nursing home incidents accidents. Mr. Swanson has successfully tried numerous cases in more than ten different Wisconsin counties. Because of his trial experience, As a result, the National Board of Trial Advocacy has certified him as a Civil Trial Specialist in 2001.

Mr. Swanson has given talks presented speeches about the law and safety in many local high schools and has participated in “Law Day” on several occasions service organizations. He has also been a very active member in the Waukesha County legal community as evidenced by his involvement in the Waukesha County Bar Association, where he currently holds the office of President. He has also held the office of Treasurer, Secretary, Scholarship Committee Chairman and Legal Ethics Committee Chairman, and Bar Leaders Conference Representative. Mr. Swanson also serves on the Board of Directors of the Waukesha County Bar Association as well as the Bench / Bar Liaison Committee of Waukesha County. He is an active member of the Waukesha County Chamber of Commerce, the Pewaukee Chamber of Commerce and the Waukesha Rotary Club. Mr. Swanson and his family enjoy living and participating in the Waukesha County community.
