Police arrest teenager who stole car and killed two individuals

Two individuals – a 46-year-old woman and an eight-year-old boy – lost their lives when an 18-year-old male stole a car and caused a car accident on W. Hadley Street in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The accident occurred just after 3:30 p.m. on Friday, May 27, police authorities announced on Friday, June 3. Five other people in addition to the two killed, including three more children, were injured.

According to preliminary investigations, the suspect was speeding along W. Hadley Street and collided with another vehicle after running a stop sign. The teen then fled the scene of the accident on foot with another male suspect. The victims, who were all in one vehicle, were headed north on N. 39th Street when their vehicle was struck by the stolen car. The police are now holding the suspect in custody, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
