Highway U two-vehicle collision critically injures four

A two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Two Mile Road and Highway U resulted in four people getting injured on Wednesday, June 15.

The four individuals connected with the incident all sustained critical injuries, and one was brought to Froedtert Hospital in Wauwatosa via Flight for Life. The Union Grove-Yorkville, Raymond, and Wind Lake fire and rescue teams responded to the scene of the accident, along with the Wisconsin State Patrol. Deputies from the Racine County Sheriff’s Office temporarily closed Highway U to public traffic between Three Mile Road and 50th Road. Racine County Sheriff Christopher Schmaling said the intersection of Two Mile Road and Highway U has a history of causing accidents.
