The West Allis Police Department in Milwaukee County, Wisconsin recently released a 150-page report regarding the fatal accident that involved two vehicles, caused by Milwaukee firefighter Joshua Larson. The report includes transcripts of 911 calls and interviews.
Larson, who was driving a Ford F-350 pickup truck on April 4, 2016, was allegedly traveling 10 to 15 miles per hour over the speed limit when he abruptly made a lane change. The sudden maneuver caused Larson’s vehicle to crash into another one, instantly killing Uber driver Youruba Sly Lundasi and his passenger Wendell Johnson. The report further showed that police investigators confiscated three beer cans, an nearly empty bottle of apple-flavored vodka, and a cocktail drink from the back of Larson’s vehicle. Police took Larson into custody after he was slurring his words.
