An industrial accident occurred on Wednesday afternoon, June 22, at  “Cream City Wrecking” on Warren Street. The Menomonee Falls police were called out to the scene around 1:17 p.m.

The investigation revealed that Hanke Trucking of Slinger was working at the location when one of the company’s employees, a 27-year-old man from Mayville, Wisconsin, got his arm stuck in an impact material crusher.  He was freed from the machine with assistance from the Milwaukee Fire Department’s H.U.R.T (Heavy Urban Rescue Team) and was eventually transported to a local hospital via Flight for Life. The incident is still under investigation by the Menomonee Falls Police Department and the United States Department of Labor’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). The victims injuries were not life-threatening.
