Two-car collision causes neck, back injuries to one person

The Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office in Wisconsin has reported that a two-vehicle collision that happened on Thursday, June 30 at around 12:30 p.m. along the northbound lanes of Interstate 41 at County T-W/Beloit Road has resulted in the hospitalization of one individual.

According to preliminary investigations, a semi-truck that was traveling along the highway crashed into the back of a car that preceded it, causing the occupant of the car to sustain neck and back injuries. The affected person was immediately taken to the hospital for treatment.

Traffic accumulated along the highway, with backups reaching up to 3 miles when two lanes of the northbound lanes of Interstate 41 were temporarily closed. Lanes were re-opened after 2 p.m.
