An SUV-dump truck collision that happened on westbound Interstate 94 in Wisconsin at around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 13 resulted in life-threatening injuries for one person.
According to preliminary investigations made by the Wisconsin State Patrol, a man had been driving a Kia Soul the wrong way on westbound Interstate 94 when his vehicle collided with a dump truck that was driven by a 55-year-old Milwaukee man in a construction zone. Firefighters from the Johnson Creek Fire Department were able to extricate the trapped man inside the Kia and put out the fires that were started by the collision.
The SUV’s 30-year-old driver from West Allis, whose identity was not revealed to the public, was brought to Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee to receive treatment for his critical injuries.
