Truck driver crashes into two homes, mailbox, and another car

A Belmont man ran his truck into two different houses, a mailbox, and another car on Tuesday night, July 12, resulting in minor injuries.

A call was made to Platteville deputies at 10:16 p.m. on the night of the crash, which occurred on County Road B in Platteville. Bradley C. Speth, 25, was named by investigators who said he was driving east along County Road B when his Chevy Silverado left the road. Though all injuries reported were minor, extensive damage was done to both homes and vehicles. The crash remains under investigation and the Platteville Fire Department, the Platteville Police Department, and Southwest Health EMS all responded to the accident.
