A residential fire completely destroyed a house in the midst of renovations on Monday morning, July 25th in the town of Beloit.

Fifteen emergency crews from the surrounding area responded to reports of flames coming from the 6128 South County Truck G home. Heavy smoke and fire were confirmed to be coming from the second story upon arrival and police quickly confirmed that no one was inside the home, including all animals.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation, but no one was injured. The house, however, was deemed a lost cause with damage estimated at over $100,000.
