Sandwiches distributed in school districts included in Listeria recall expansion

Posted on August 23, 2016 2:49 pm under Defective Food Product

Let’s Do Lunch Inc., for Gardena, California’s Integrated Food Service (IFS), expanded a nationwide recall for sandwiches sold at school districts due to Listeria contamination.

Product Description: Turkey, ham, and cheese subs; Italian subs, BBQ rib sandwiches, hamburgers, cheeseburgers, chili dogs, sliders, and more.

There have been no recorded illnesses in the affected states – CA, MI, NC, NM, OH, PA, TX, VA, WA – and the company is asking that districts with the affected items keep them frozen and out of use until further instructions follow on how to destroy the product.

If your child has been affected by food distributed by their school, you may be eligible to receive compensation. Contact an attorney with Habush Habush & Rottier S.C. ® at (414) 271-0900 today.
