Posted on August 24, 2016 6:07 pm under Car Accidents

A Cudahy Police officer caused an accident on Friday, August 12, at an intersection in a residential area.

The officer was speeding toward an incident involving several stolen cars. One suspect crashed a stolen car into a light pole and overall, six people were arrested.

The officer sped through the intersection and hit the back of a pickup truck. The accident was captured on a surveillance video for Pinball Savage, owned by Richard Conti Jr., who is a friend of the driver who was hit. Both the police officer and the other driver had very minor cuts on their faces and did not go to the hospital.
