Ton Shen Health recalls product due to possible lead contamination

As of August 11, 2016, Ton Shen Health in Chicago, IL, has announced a recall of its “DHZC-2” Tablets after FDA notice of higher level of lead presence in DHZC-2 samples was released. The lead element can affect numerous body system and is more dangerous to small children.

Product description: 1.6 ounces, white-plastic packages that are marked with lot # 2163-844. UPC: 616042102727.

The product was sold in the Chicago area, but may have been distributed through the mail to other areas.

The company has made it clear that consumption of the tables should stop immediately and returned for a refund. One illness has been reported and Ton Shen Health and the FDA are working together to investigate.
