New Jersey-based toy company ALEX Toys announced a recall of three ALEX Jr. infant building toy sets on August 23. The models, which include the Baby Builder, First Pops, and the First Snaps, have small, detachable parts that can cause choking.

Product Description: All three sets are composed of 14 or 26 colorful, assorted plastic shapes that are meant to be put together and pulled apart. Model 1982 of the Baby Builder, 1981P of the First Pops, and 1981S of the First Snaps would have been sold nationwide at Barnes & Noble, Land of Nod, or online through Zulily. The release dates of these products range from 2009 to the summer of this year.

You can return the product for a full refund or contact ALEX Toys for more information. There were 22 reports of the defect but no injuries.
