A teenager recently suffered injuries in Sun Prairie after he was struck by a vehicle while riding his bicycle, a September 12 article for Channel 3000 reported.

Information coming from the Sun Prairie Police revealed that at 7:04 a.m. they responded to an accident that took place at Tower Drive and North Bird intersection, near Bird Elementary School. The bicyclist, only identified as a 13-year-old boy, was reportedly transported to a hospital after sustaining a wrist injury. The vehicle driver, identified as a 59-year-old woman, was not injured in the incident. A citation was later given to the woman after authorities learned that she failed to yield to let the bicycle pass.
