Pieces of Plastic Possibly Included in Wegmans Italian Classics Pasta

As of September 2, 2016, Wegmans Food Markets, Inc. of Rochester, New York voluntarily recalled one date code of Wegmans Italian Classics Striped Ricotta & Spinach Ravioli, sold between August 2 and Aug. 30, 2016, due to the possible inclusion of pieces of white plastic.

Product details: nearly 1,700 units of Wegmans Italian Classics 9-ounce package of Striped Ricotta & Spinach Ravioli (UPC # 0-77890-38934), produced by O’ Sole Mio in Quebec, Canada and sold at 90 Wegmans stores across New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Maryland, and Massachusetts. Wegmans has assured customers that any remaining products that have been affected by the recall have been removed from the stores.

Customers who did purchase the product can return it to their local Wegmans for a refund. There have been no injuries in relation to the product at this point.
