A child in Milwaukee suffered serious injuries in an accident involving a bunk bed in his home, according to an article of TMJ4.
The young boy was in a comatose condition after having his head suddenly pinned between the bunk bed’s top portion and the wall. A relative of the boy his reported that the family notified paramedics as soon as they saw what happened. Federal authorities have issued a regulation regarding bunk beds due to fatalities reported in the past, and children younger than six years old are highly advised to stay away from the top bunk. The boy is doing better and is still receiving treatments at the Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin.
