Milwaukee Man Crashes after Eluding Officer

Posted on September 29, 2016 2:05 pm under Car Accidents

A vehicle fled a routine traffic stop on I-49 just before 11 a.m. on Wednesday, September 14 after the officer left his vehicle.

The deputy did chase the man for a few minutes but quickly stopped due to dangerous conditions. The vehicle continued to speed away.

The driver apparently exited I-94 briefly and ran a stop sign before trying to re-enter I-94. He crashed the vehicle on the on-ramp.

The only occupant was the driver, 28-year-old Terrence Andersen, who sustained only minor injuries. He has been charged with Fleeing and Eluding a police Officer, along with other traffic violation charges.
