A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle while he was walking across Kenosha Street Monday evening, November 7.
The victim, identified by Kenosha Police as 19-year-old Lavonta McMath, had been traveling where there was no crosswalk or traffic light. Investigators believe that McMath was crossing the divided street in the 5500 block of Washington Road around 8:30 p.m. He was hit by a vehicle driven by 20-year-old Kenosha man.
The police sought the help of the Kenosha Fire Department and Flight for Life. The Kenosha Fire Rescue failed to revive McMath, who died at the scene.
