An automobile was hit twice on Wednesday, October 12 just before 11 a.m. in Waukesha County near Menomonee Falls.

The Wisconsin State Patrol’s report states that a Chevrolet Cavalier was hit in the rear by a Ford van driven by a 39-year-old man, while it was halted in the middle lane of I-41 NB at South of County Line Rd. Just a little bit later, the Cavalier was struck by a Jeep Grand Cherokee operated by a 73-year-old man.

The Chevrolet’s operator and his 29-year-old passenger from Milwaukee were unable to get out of the vehicle and were later rescued with the help of emergency workers. The passenger, Demario Harrison, was taken by Flight for Life to Froedtert Hospital but later yielded to his injuries and died.

Both drivers of the Chevrolet and the Cherokee were taken to a local hospital for their wounds.
