At least one person was killed and five others suffered injuries in Alabama after a pipeline of Colonial Pipeline Co erupted. The explosion affected consumers in many areas as well, an article of the Wisconsin Gazette reported on November 1.
According to reports, the blast took place after a pipeline outside Helena was struck by a machine used by crews working in the area. “Millions of barrels of gasoline” pass through the pipeline on a daily basis. Some parts of the U.S., including the southern and eastern areas, are expected to be affected for several days when the damaged pipeline is shutdown. Reports revealed that a gas line of Colonial Pipeline Co also erupted in September. The gas company could not confirm when the gas supply will be restored.
The explosion attorneys at Habush Habush & Rottier S.C. ® send their sincere condolences to the family and friends who were affected by the recent pipeline blast fatality.
