An elderly woman involved in a car crash on Monday, October 31 in Dodge County resulted in her death, as well as the injuries to one other person.
The accident was reported to have happened near CTH V and CTH Y in the afternoon when the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office responded. The victim was 90-year-old Irma Baurmann, who ran through a stop sign at the intersection and ran into a westbound vehicle operated by 66-year-old Kenneth Weinberger.
Baurmann was brought to the hospital where she would later die and Weinberger is expected to survive his injuries. Lack of seat belts is confirmed to have not been a contributing factor.
The responders to the accident included Mayville EMS, Brownsville First Responders, Flight for Life, and the Knowles Fire Department, alongside the Sheriff’s Officers. The investigation team of the Sheriff’s Office is trying to understand all the factors of the accident.
Our deepest condolences from Habush Habush & Rottier S.C. ® go out to the victim and those who were close to her and we hope for a speedy recovery for Weinberger.
