At least two people were hospitalized after a two-vehicle crash on Richards Street near Wright Street, last November 29.
Authorities were dispatched to the scene after receiving a report of a collision that afternoon. According to the report, a Saab was traveling on the northbound lane of Richards Street when it ran a stop sign and crashed into a Volkswagen traveling the opposing lane.
The impact of the collision injured two occupants of the Volkswagen. They were rushed to a local hospital for treatment of serious injuries. The condition of the driver of the Saab remains unknown.
No identification was released.
Local investigators were requested to the scene to determine the cause of crash. After preliminary investigation, they said that speed may have contributed to the accident.
