A doctor in Old Lyme, Connecticut has been accused of sexually assaulting a female patient.

According to the complaint, the suspect, 46-year-old Wilton Calderon, reportedly groped and rubbed himself against the patient during physical exams. His patient claims that Calderon touched her inappropriately during their routine exams in January 2014 and June 2014. The complainant also cited the clinic, Ministry Medical Group Plover clinic, for reckless disregard of patient’s safety for allowing Calderon to operate despite numerous previous sexual assault accusations against him.

Calderon is scheduled to appear on his first hearing on Portage County Circuit Court next year. He is facing four counts of sexual assault and six counts of fourth-degree sexual assault. If convicted he will serve his sentence in prison for a maximum of 10 years and nine months. He is also facing a civil lawsuit from the victim.
