A nursing home facility staffer in Glendale, Wisconsin was recently injured after a fire broke out in the premises, a December 20 article of wisn.com reported.

According to reports, elderly residents were displaced from the GoldenLiving Center at about 9:00 a.m. after a fire broke out on the building’s second floor. Fire & Rescue Chief Robert Whitaker told reporters that his crews immediately contained the fire and the facility’s sprinklers activated. A staffer, only identified as a female, sought medical attention due to smoke-related injuries she sustained from the fire. Authorities are figuring out the cause of the fire.
