General Motors has issued a recall of over 12,600 Cadillacs because of airbag failures. It is believed that the airbag-sensing systems on the passenger side of the car do not function properly. A lawsuit filed against the Boy Scouts of America by a former Boy Scout leader has been appealed to the Ohio Supreme Court, after a lower appeals court upheld the dismissal of the case based on the state's statute of limitations. Cheryl Swanson sued the Boy Scouts organization in March 2007, claiming that she suffered traumatic brain injuries in 2002 as a result of her participation in a sponsored activity. The court dismissed Swanson's case, saying that the 2-year statute of limitations had already lapsed.
