Dog Bites Very Serious

by Administrator 11. January 2010 08:25

Some dog attacks are very serious.  The serious attacks can require hospitalization of the victim and could result in permanent scars.  Serious attacks may require many stitches or possibly staples in order to treat the injury.  Some dog attacks have even resulted in the death of individuals because of the viciousness of some breeds.

It is up to the pet owner to control their pet.  If an animal attack occurs,  it is the ultimate responsibility of the pet owner.

If you or someone you know has been injured in a pet attack, please contact the Milwaukee dog bite attorneys of Habush, Habush &Rottier at 800-242-2874.

Pets Need to be Kept on Leash in Public

by Administrator 8. October 2009 04:50

Many pet owners will walk their pets, or allow them to be outside without a leash or restraint.  This is poor pet ownership,  because it can allow the pet to act on their own.  For pets that are dangerous, such as pit bulls,  this could lead to a situation in which someone is attacked by the animal.

Keeping a pet on a leash can help prevent possible animal attacks, and it can also help better train the animal in understanding that it needs to be by its owner's side.

In the end,  an individual is responsible for the actions of their pet.  If the pet does something that causes problems for others,  the owner is responsible.

If you or someone you love has been injured by a dog bite or other animal attack, contact the Milwaukee animal attack lawyers of Habush Habush & Rottier, S.C. at 800-242-2874 to find out how we can help you.

Pet Injuries Increase in Summer

by Administrator 8. June 2009 06:30

The number of animal attacks and injuries caused by pets increases in the summer time.  The reason for the increase is that many pet owners take their animals outside during the warmer weather.

Animal attacks can occur in an instance.  The viciousness of some of these attacks can be horrifying.  Some animals, such as pit bulls,  are known for their extremely aggressive and brutal attacks that can occur.  Many times,  it is difficult to stop and animal if they attack someone or something.

It is ultimately the owners responsibility to watch over the animal.  If an animal attacks someone, or something,  the owner has to face the consequences for not properly handling the dog.

If you or someone you know has been involved in an accident, contact the Milwaukee personal injury attorneys of Habush, Habush & Rottier at 800-242-2874.

Dog Bite Victim Upset Over Police Response

by Administrator 25. April 2008 04:04
A woman who was attacked by several dogs while on vacation in Florida is upset with the police response to her injuries. Jacqueline Henderson, of New Jersey, was taking a morning walk when two dogs surrounded her, showing signs of aggression. Henderson tried to leave the scene, but was bitten on the back of leg by one of the dogs. She climbed on top of a neighbor's car to avoid further injury.  The neighbor informed her that the dogs had a history of biting people.  However, Henderson was upset to learn that police only required to the owner to quarantine his dogs in the aftermath of the attack. Henderson was treated at a local hospital for a contusion and hematoma. Have you been bitten by a vicious dog or other animal? If so, the owner may be responsible for your injuries.
