GM Recalls 1000s of Cadillacs because of Airbag Defects

by Administrator 17. November 2008 08:11
General Motors has issued a recall of over 12,600 Cadillacs because of airbag failures. It is believed that the airbag-sensing systems on the passenger side of the car do not function properly. The problem is so serious that a front-passenger airbag might be deployed when it is not needed and might not be deployed when it is needed. The specific model that has been recalled is the Cadillac MY2009 CTS. Airbag failures to operate can be injurious, harmful, or fatal. If you or someone you know has been a victim of an airbag failure, contact the personal injury attorneys of Habush, Habush, & Rottier by calling 1-800-242-7205 or by going to their website.

Little Girl Left Blind After Allergic Reaction to Motrin

by Administrator 17. July 2008 04:07

After taking Children’s Motrin, Sabrina Johnson was left with chemical burns to her eyes. The reaction was due to a rare condition, Stevens-Johnson syndrome. Over 20 people have been blinded, seriously injured, or killed by Children’s Motrin.

The lawsuit claims Johnson & Johnson failed to properly warn physicians and parents of the side effects such as blisters, redness, and rash-like symptoms ibuprofen can cause. In 2006, McNeil Consumer Products, ordered the manufacturer of Children’s Motrin, to list the serious side effects on the label. However, they are still missing.

North Texas Toy Maker Recalls Toy

by Administrator 28. March 2008 05:03
A North Texas toy maker is recalling 122,000 units of its Rock 'n Ride plush rockers due to injuries to children who have used them. The recalled toys including the brown pony, pink pony, pink unicorn, deluxe pony, deluxe bull, lil' penguin, lil' propeller plane, and Clifford big red rocker models were manufactured between July and December of 2007. The toys have a tendency to tip over due to a faulty plastic base. This has lead to reports of bumps, bruises, and cuts on children. The rockers are sold at Wal-Mart, Toys 'R' Us, K-Mart, Target, Atwoods, and Pamida stores, as well as through the Internet. The toys are manufactured by a firm in China. If you have been injured due to a defective product, contact the Milwaukee defective product lawyers of Habush, Habush, & Rottier at 1-800-242-7205 to discuss your case and to determine your legal options.

Johnson & Johnson Issues Recall for Pain Patch

by Administrator 13. February 2008 02:02
Johnson & Johnson has issued a voluntary recall for about 32 million units of its popular pain patch Duragesic, due to concerns that manufacturing problems may lead to accidental overdose. The recall affects all 25 microgram per hour patches sold in the United States by the PriCara Unit of Johnson & Johnson. Fentanyl, an opioid in Duragesic, may cause respiratory problems or death by overdose. Several lawsuits have been filed against Duragesic over the years, with a case yielding a $5.5 million verdict in summer of last year. Nonetheless, a PriCara spokesman insisted that the product was overall safe and beneficial to the market. Duragesic registered $1.16 billion in sales in 2007. A Milwaukee personal injury lawyer from the Habush Habush & Rottier law firm can help you if you have been adversely affected by a defective product. Call them at 800-242-7205 today.
