Georgia Man Charged with DUI

Police arrested and charged Dempsey Lee Soloman (48) after his car was involved in an accident involving a police vehicle Saturday night.

He was charged with driving under the influence, leaving the scene of an accident, making false statements, and a misdemeanor count of obstruction after allegedly hitting a police car driven by Ofc. Jason Bray. Officer Bray was on his way home when the accident occurred.

Officer Bray was treated for minor injuries and released from the Medical Center of Central Georgia. Soloman was released from jail after posting $55,000 bond.
