A Tomah, Wisconsin man was seriously injured in a car accident near Sparta, Wisconsin. Wisconsin State Patrol is investigating the cause of the accident.

Troopers with the Wisconsin State Patrol say that 32-year-old Jacob Newson was driving along Interstate-90 in the westbound lanes of traffic when he somehow lost control of his vehicle and rolled it multiple times ending up in the eastbount lanes. Newson was thrown from his vehicle when it rolled.

Jacob Newson was taken to Gunderson Lutheran Hospital in La Crosse. He was listed as being in critical condition after sustaining life-threatening injuries. He apparently was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident.
