Pit Bull Climbs Through Neighbor’s Doggie Door and Attacks

An American Staffordshier Terrier, also known as a pit bull, climbed through a neighbor’s door in Denver Colorado and attacked the neighbor and his three dogs.

The pit bull and its owner moved in a few weeks ago. The pit bull climbed through the neighbors’ doggie door and attacked the adult owner of the home plus his 8 year old Jack Russell terrier, a Brittany Spaniel mix, and the 13-year old labrador retriever. The owner of the home managed to pick the pit bull up and throw him outside the house.

When an animal control officer arrived later in the day, he said the dog did not appear to be vicious and so the dog was not confiscated. The owner of the pit bull has decided to have the dog put down voluntarily following the attack.

The attacked individuals are all recovering from injuries but are expected to pull through. The family is now keeping the doggie door locked to prevent any other incidents.
