Icicle Damages Car

Posted on March 5, 2008 4:03 am under Premises Liability

An icicle broke free of a building on Sunday and crashed into a parked car below.

The icicle, which weighed between 35 and 40 pounds, dented the hood, shattered the windshield, and set off the car’s 2 front airbags.

Currently, the vehicle can not be driven. The owner will find out soon how much it will cost to fix the car. She is very grateful that she and her son weren’t in the car when the icicle fell on it.
