Three people were injured in an accident involving a milk tanker and a car. By the time the accident was over, the milk tank was upside and the cab was almost 400 feet away in an alfalfa field.
Authorities believe that the driver of the milk truck lost control on a sharp turn and entered the left lane. It then proceeded to side-swipe a car that was in the southbound lanes. The front of the milk tank was pulled away from the trailer from the force of the accident. The cab stopped 300 feet later. No milk was spilled in the accident.
The driver of the car was taken to a hospital via helicopter.
