Posted on April 17, 2008 8:04 am under Personal Injury

A Pl Transport Drivers employee filed suit last week against Total Petrochemicals USA, Inc., seeking damages for injuries he suffered as a result of chemical exposure during a delivery made in 2006.

Juan Martinez-Garcia was injured after being sprayed in the face with hazardous substances during a delivery to Total Petrochemicals’ Port Arthur facility. His lawsuit claims that Total Petrochemicals failed to adequately train its employees to respond to emergencies and also failed to provide working wash stations at its facility.

Martinez-Garcia is seeking damages for pain and suffering, mental anguish, disfigurement, impairment, and lost wages.
