Recent Study Proposes Ways to Understand Future for TBI Victims

A recent study by McGill University (Canada) researchers have proposed ways to predict the future of people who have suffered TBI. One step that the study proposed is obtaining better medical advice and conducting follow-up interviews with patients. Additionally, using predictive tools helps. Using the tests that patients undergo while in the hospital also helps in understanding how the patient will develop. One such test is GOS-E.

The study followed up with 46 patients over a period of two to five years. Patients took some of the tests they had taken earlier, and the results were compared to the results of the same tests earlier.
