Tuesday afternoon just east of Bassett on Highway F, three teenage girls were involved in an accident that has left two of them in critical condition. The accident apparently happened when the driver lost control of the vehicle.
The 2001 Chevrolet Blazer was westbound when the 16 year old driver lost control and the vehicle spun out, going off the road and hitting a tree. It took 45 minutes to free the girls from the wreckage.The driver has been released from the hospital and the two passengers, 15 and 16 years old, remain in critical condition.
