Man Dies in Snowmobile Accident

A man from Wheeler was involved in a snowmobile accident on Tuesday night. He was on a trail between Wheeler and Boyceville along with three other people each on their own snowmobiles. The trail runs along Highway 170.

At one point along the trail, the man came to a turn and slid off the trail. He was thrown from the snowmobile into a tree. Although he was wearing a helmet, he was killed in the accident. Whether or not alcohol was involved is not yet known.
