Swimming Pools Need Barriers

Posted on September 28, 2009 6:29 am under Premises Liability

Swimming pools are very dangerous for children. Because of this, it is important for the owner of any pool to setup a fence and barriers around the pool that would make it impossible for a wondering child to access.

Many times, a child will leave the presence of the parents or guardian briefly. During this time, they may wonder into the pool and fall in. Not being able to swim, the child would likely drown in a matter of minutes if they were to fall in. This is the reason that it is so important to make it impossible for an unsupervised child to be able to access a pool.
