Man Pleads No Contest in Hit-and-Run Death

Posted on November 5, 2009 6:55 am under Car Accidents

A 29 year-old male recently pleaded no contest to his role in a hit-and-run death at a court room Monday morning in Milwaukee.

The 19 year-old pleaded no contest in court to his role in the woman's death that took place in June.  The man's car struck and killed a 78 year-old woman as she was attempting to cross a street.   The driver struck another vehicle, then struck the woman causing her death.  The man contends that he did not know he struck a person,  but that he fled because he had a suspended license.

The man will soon face sentencing for the death, and could face many years in prison.
