Day Care Worker Charged in Infant Injury

Posted on November 20, 2009 6:56 am under Personal Injury

A 21 year-old day care worker has recently been charged with second-degree reckless endangerment and child neglect.  The two charges are a felony and a misdemeanor. The charges come about after it was discovered that a 10-month-old girl had suffered a serious injury that went unreported while in the workers care.

The injury to the infant was discovered after the infant was at home and the father of the child was changing the baby.  The baby was rushed to an emergency room on discovery of the injury.

Authorities are also investigating another day care worker at the school to see if the worker failed to report the injury.
