A Milwaukee motorist was in an accident with a drunk driver on Christmas Eve, resulting in the man's paralyzation.

The 43-year-old man was driving north on S. 13th St. near Cleveland Ave. when a driver driving the opposite way crossed the lanes of traffic at about 8 in the evening on Thursday, crashing into the 43-year-old's vehicle head-on.  The 36-year-old driver of the second vehicle was not injured, but was arrested by police for drunk driving.  The 43-year-old man was taken to the hospital, where it was discovered he had a broken neck and is paralyzed from the neck down.
