A 23-year-old woman has accused a 41-year-old man of sexually assaulting her in late April in Green Bay, Wis., after putting a drug in her drink. According to the criminal complaint, the woman was going to bars in downtown Green Bay with a female friend when two males pulled up in a car and asked for directions. The two women allegedly got in the car with the men, and they went to a bar together. That is the last thing the woman said she remembers until she woke up in a hotel room with one of the men.
The bartender reported that the women were not intoxicated when they arrived, but they became intoxicated within an hour. The man says the woman initiated sexual advances. In the hotel room police found empty packages of a drug sometimes used for sexual assault.
