Prosecutors will review the case against a Milwaukee County police officer who was involved in a car accident last week.

According to officials with the Cudahy Police Department, a 34 year-old police officer was arrested last week at the scene of a car accident. Authorities held the woman on charges of driving under the influence. The deputy was off-duty at the time of the crash.

Prosecutors say the officer has been suspended without pay while the case is reviewed. Cudahy police chief Thomas Poellot said no one involved in the car accident requested medical attention at the scene.
