Woman Killed in Milwaukee Motorcycle Accident

A woman was killed in a Milwaukee motorcycle accident involving a semi-truck Monday.

According to officials with the Washington County Sheriff’s Department, 42 year-old Patricia A. Dineen Ladd was a passenger on a motorcycle operated by 48 year-old John W. Menting when the accident occurred. Police say the crash happened shortly after 5:00 p.m. on State Highway 167 in the Village of Richfield.

According to a Washington County Sheriff’s Department press release, the accident involved a tractor-trailer driven by 31 year-old Michael P. Carolan, of Williamsburg, Iowa. The cause of the crash remains under investigation, according to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation.

Ladd was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash by the Washington County Coroner’s Office.

No further details were provided on the wreck.
