At least one person was injured in a Milwaukee car accident Tuesday morning, authorities say.
According to officials with the Milwaukee Fire Department, response crews were dispatched to the westbound lanes of Interstate 94 to treat at least one person who was involved in a car accident. The crash occurred shortly before 8:00 a.m. Tuesday morning near the Hawley Road off-ramp, police cay.
According to a Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Department accident report, the off-ramp was shut down so fire department officials could assist at the scene. Witnesses say one person was extricated from a vehicle. Information on the nature and extent of their injuries has not been released.
Police said the off-ramp would re-open around 12:00 p.m.
