A woman was injured in a Milwaukee car accident Tuesday morning, police said.
According to officials with the Milwaukee Police Department, the accident occurred at the intersection of North 35th Street and West Park hill Avenue on Milwaukee’s north side. Authorities say the woman was traveling south on 35th street when she lost control of her vehicle and slid into a light pole.
The woman, whose name has not been released, was transported by ambulance to a local hospital following the accident. The nature or extent of her injuries was not known by officials on the scene.
Police determined that weather was a factor in the accident. A police spokeswoman says that about 20 accidents happened in the city this morning, four of them involving injuries. A winter storm warning was issued for Milwaukee early this morning.
