One person was killed and another critically injured in a Milwaukee motorcycle accident Sunday.
According to officials with the Washington County Sheriff’s Department, the accident occurred shortly after 5:00 p.m. Sunday at the intersection of STH 33 and STH 144. Authorities say a car was traveling south on Glacier Drive and stopped at a stop sign at STH 33. The car pulled away from the stop sign and into the path of a westbound motorcycle.
Both of the motorcycle occupants were ejected from the vehicle. Neither was wearing a helmet at the time. The motorcycle was transported by Flight for Life to the Milwaukee Medical Complex where he was pronounced dead. The female passenger of the motorcycle was critically injured.
The names of the people involved have not been released.
