Three severely injured in Wisconsin 213 crash

Posted on January 23, 2012 3:04 pm under Car Accidents

On Sunday night around 5:00 p.m. a two-car accident took place on Wisconsin 213 in Rock County. The outcome of the car accident was serious, with seven people sustaining injuries, three of them severe.

A 39-year-old woman and mother of four was traveling with her whole family on Wisconsin 213 when she was unable to keep control of her vehicle. The car turned sideways and slid into traffic on the other side of the highway, making contact with an oncoming car.

The four children involved were taken to St. Mary’s Hospital in Janesville to be treated for their injuries. Their parents, along with the other driver, received life-threatening injuries and were transported to two separate hospitals. Police are still investigating the crash but believe that bad weather conditions played a role in the accident.
