Ray Easterling’s death may change course of NFL lawsuit

The death of former Atlanta Falcon player, Ray Easterling, has not only saddened many friends, family and fans, but it may also change the nature of a concussion-related lawsuit against the NFL.

According to legal representation, the lawsuit may now be run as a wrongful death lawsuit rather than a personal injury case.

According to the lawsuits, former football players have stated that the National Football League is guilty of “carelessness, negligence, intentional misconduct, and concealment of information” and this caused former players to suffer from long term damage as a result of suffering concussions while on the field. Easterling was found dead in his home last Thursday after what officials believe to be a suicide.
