A passenger was injured after a plane crashed near Elcho on Sunday, February 17, authorities said.
Reports coming from the Langlade County Sheriff’s Department said a single-engine plane containing two people lost power to its engine around 1 p.m. The plane pilot made an emergency field landing about a mile southeast of Elcho, Wisconsin. The plane’s passenger was immediately brought to Rhinelander Hospital for the treatment of minor injuries, while the pilot, on the other hand, did not sustain any injuries.
Investigations were made by officers of the Federal Aviation Administration following the accident.
