The driver who recently struck a mother and her 18-month-old daughter was charged on Tuesday, December 3.
According to reports, Thomas Walker, 24, was charged with hit-and-run causing death, driving with a suspended license, and hit-and-run causing injury.
The hit-and-run accident occurred on November 27 when Cheyenne Jackson, 21, and her 18-month-old daughter were struck by Walker’s vehicle as they crossed S. 6th Street at W. Hayes. Jackson’s daughter, Erieanna, died from her injuries.
Walker was apprehended by police on the day following the accident. He claimed that he did not notice that he struck anyone.
